C.A.M. & Sweet Senior Border Collie Rescue (SSBCR)
and Retirement Home
We are temporarily not taking in any dogs into our rescue, we apologise for any inconvenience.
Here at C.A.M. we have started a rescue dedicated to the older Border Collie. Those sweet seniors who are hard to rehome or may have medical issues are welcome here to retire in a caring, pampering, knowledgable home, on plenty of safe acreage and a warm bed at night, with plenty of well deserved 'TLC', of course!. Sometimes a very special home may come along for our senior Border Collies to retire forever to and for others, they will live out the rest of their lives with us here in our home.
Border Collies are welcome from anywhere and everywhere, other Rescue Organisations, SPCA, Animal Control and 'Owner Surrender' (for any reason). Border Collies do not do well in 'Kennel' enviroments, especially if they have had a working or sporting life in their younger days, but all Border Collies deserve an unrestricted and loving last forever home and we aim to provide just that.

Please note; It is our policy not to rehome our dogs to busy families with young children (under 10 years old), nor to rehome dogs as outdoor dogs (unless a stock dog used to living outside), No senior dogs will be homed as outdoor dogs, no exceptions. All dogs will be microchipped to this rescue for their lifetime.
